Q: When will I receive my custom order?
A: All special orders will be sent in on Fridays. Some items will be available within a week, but most 2 weeks. i.e., order goes in on Friday May 8, some items may be available by May 15 – but in most cases, orders will arrive the week of May 18..
Q: Is there a shipping and handling fee?
A: Yes. It’s only a nominal fee of $2 per order. It covers the miscellaneous expenses associated with retail sales and shipping from the wholesaler.
Q: How can I pay for my order?
A: YMSPG accepts cash, personal checks, and business checks – payment is due when order is placed.
Q: How often can we order?
A: As often as you like.
Q: Is there sales tax on what I order?
A: The tax is built into the price
Q: Are there other colors available besides what is listed on the order form?
Q: Can I buy a “sample” item that is on display?
A: Yes. Price as marked, and only if it is not a special order item --
Q: Does YMS get ALL the proceeds from the sale of these items?
A: Yes. After product costs, YMS will get 100% of the profits.
Q: What if what I order doesn’t fit?
A: We do not take returns or give refunds unless an item has been damaged during delivery or the custom embroidery was incorrectly placed or misspelled. We have provided a variety of sizes and styles, so be sure to size yourself or your child accordingly. All orders are final.
Q: Do I have to order exactly what is on the sample table?
A: No. You can decide on your own custom wording (some limitations). .
Q: Can I get my name embroidered on the sleeve?
A: Yes. There is a $2 additional charge for this. You must indicate where you want it done on the custom order form.
Q: How do we know our order is in, and how do we pick up our order?
A: Someone from the YMS store will call you, and you can have your student pick up the order during their lunch/recess time.
Q: Is it less if I choose not to have custom embroidery?
A: No. All pricing includes the custom embroidery but you can elect not to have anything on your item.
Q: Can I get my item screen printed instead?
A: No. There are higher minimums and additional set up charges that made it cost prohibitive for us to do any screen printing this year.
Q: Do you larger adult sizes?
A: Yes. Most of the clothing items we have come in 2XL, 3XL, and some in 4XL. There is a $3 additional charge per item, for these sizes.
Q: Will the clothing items shrink?
A: Although some are pre-shrunk, they may shrink a little bit. Read the label of the item you are ordering for more details.
Q: What are the youth sizes comparable to in standard retail sizes?
A: XS (7-8); S (9-10); M (10-12); L (12-14); XL (14-16)
Q: Why are some of the items priced higher than others?
A: We have tried to provide a variety of styles, selections and quality and priced them accordingly. This gives more options for everyone. .
Q: What are the care instructions for the clothing?
A: Please refer to the inside manufacturer’s label.
Q: If I purchase one of the sample display items, can you send it back for custom embroidery?
A: No. We do not have a process in place to manage the shipping and receiving of individual items. There are local shops that do custom embroidery.
Q: What if I don’t like the item I received?
A: All sales are final unless there is a misspelling, it’s a wrong item, the custom embroidery is placed incorrectly or the item is damaged during shipping.
