Halloween Fun at YMS!
The York School Department is seeking input from York, Maine, residents regarding a proposed Athletic Complex on the grounds of York High School. The complex would replace York High School’s current track and multi-use fields.
Choose from three Informational meetings that will be held at the York Public Library (prior to scheduled York School Committee Meetings) on November 1, 15, and 29 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the York Public Library.

Basketball tryouts will take place Nov 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Tryout and practice times are as follows:
8th Boys 2:00-3:45
7th Girls 3:45-5:15
8th Girls 5:15-6:45
7th Boys 6:45-8:15
All athletes need to have their eligibility paperwork completed in order to try out.

The 8th grade Jungle Cat Team collaborated with the district's new Farm-to-School Specialist Kate Chaisson to compete in a Salad Challenge. Each Advisory worked together to make a salad and dressing from a very wide variety of ingredients, some local! Mrs. Baxter's Advisory came out on top in the Taste Test, and their Kale Salad named Feta Fiasco will be featured on the menu at school one day soon!
