7th Grade culminated their Israel-Palestine unit in social studies with the Great Debate.  The 7th Grade Debaters showed courage, passion and strong use of evidence in their arguments.  Coaches assisted with helpful hints, and the audience was engaged and respectful. It’s so important for students to have the opportunity to engage in a structured process of arguing from different sides of an issue, especially in this era of polarization. We are proud of our students for tackling this complex topic happening in our world and give kudos to all for their perseverance through the unit to better understand it.  Well done, 7th grade
