York Middle School

YMS and YHS French students were joined by 10 other schools for a Friday concert at York High School by Flo. Flo is a Franco-Ontarian rapper of Haitian origin whose hip hop and rap ventures towards the pop and electro, as well as Caribbean sounds. He describes his style as “multicolored urban pop”, infusing Rap, rhythm and poetry! Thanks to YMS French Teacher Stephanie Carbonneau for spearheading the effort to bring this cultural experience to York French students! Students sang and danced and had an amazing time!
