YMS has a theme this year of "Show Up, YMS", which we have been exploring in advisories and classes. How do we show up for our school community, our friends, ourselves, and our larger community? In Quarter 2, students were given a list of words that describe how people can show up for others, and our end of quarter assembly highlighted their words and reflections. Joining together as a whole school at the start of the year, end of the year, and at every quarter break (and just for fun before vacations) has been a chance to reflect and build our school community. Thanks to all the teachers and staff who have been committed to the process and done so much thought and planning on behalf of our school and students!
