Congratulations to the YMS Jazz Band for their gold medal performance at the state festival recently! The ensemble was given an overall score of a 96 which was the highest in their performance area! 9 members received superior ratings for their solos, and three of them were were awarded an outstanding musicianship awards (out of only 5 given!) - drawn from hundreds of students . Way to go YMS Musicians for such a stellar performance!!
