Hi Everyone,
A big shout-out to the YMS 7th and 8th Grade Student Council for hosting a fantastic and well-attended Halloween party on Friday evening! Students enjoyed the variety of fun activities, including dancing, Gaga ball, video games, air hockey, and a very lively limbo contest. Lots of creative costumes added to the spirited atmosphere; and at the end of the night, prizes for best costume went to a traffic cone, Dunkin’ and Starbucks baristas, and Pennywise. We would like to acknowledge Mr. Etter and Mr. Bloise, YMS Student Coucil advisors as well as the rockstar chaperones who joined us for the event – Ms. Rowe, Ms. Azeez, Mr. Pidgeon, Ms. Gaffey, Ms. Schambach, and Mr. Lutrell.
On a related note, Friday, October 31st will be HALLOWEEN Spirit Day at YMS. Information is included in the flyer below.
Finally, keep an eye out for parent conference sign ups coming from teams on Tuesday, October 21st. Wednesday, October 22nd is an early release day for students. Dismissal is at 11:00. Students will have the opportunity to pick up a lunch before dismissal.
