Hi Everyone,
It has been a fun and festive week at YMS! Thanks to the creative themes planned by Student Council, the last full week of 2025 has been filled with energy and school spirit. Students and staff enjoyed wearing pajamas, showing off crazy hair and hats, dressing to impress on fancy day, and dressing like celebrities today. The excitement continues next week with two more spirit days— Wildcat Pride Day on Monday and Dress Like Your Favorite Holiday on Tuesday.
As a reminder, Tuesday is an early release day (dismissal is at 11:00 am). There is no school Wednesday, December 24 – Friday, January 2. School resumes on Monday, January 5.
We'd like to extend our appreciation to the York High School Chamber Singers for sharing their remarkable talent with our school. We were grateful to be included in their tour this morning. Students and staff lined the halls as the singers filled our building with beautiful holiday music. It was a truly special moment. It is traditions like this—rooted in generosity, community, and shared joy—that make York such a wonderful place.
