Hi Everyone,
Congratulations to our incredibly talented YMS musicians, along with Mr. Neel and Mr. MacLellan. Our chorus and band students put on three outstanding performances this week. These concerts are a wonderful reflection of the many hours of instruction, preparation and rehearsal, as well as the incredible support of our families at home. It’s amazing to see how much growth students have shown in just four months. We’re already looking forward to their spring concerts in May.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping our arrival and dismissal times run smoothly and safely. A quick reminder regarding afternoon pick-up:
Students in grades 7–8 should wait for parent pick-up at the far end of the bus lane (just past the main office).
Students in grades 5–6 should wait at the parking lot loop on the grass.
Families with students in both grade spans may choose which location works best.
For safety reasons, students should not wait for pick-up in the front entrance area.
Enjoy the long weekend as we honor and remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, January 19.
