Hi Everyone,
We’ve made it to February break! We hope you enjoy a well-deserved week of rest and time with family and friends. Be sure to check out the new opportunities at YMS and in the York community highlighted in this week's news. This weekend, many of our talented students will be performing in Peter Pan Junior at the York Community Theatre. Come out and support them if you can!
When we return from break, we will jump right back into a busy stretch to close out February and head into March. Eighth Grade Family Information Night at the High School is scheduled for February 24th. In addition, our 5th and 6th Grade Student Council will host a social on Friday, February 27th. A full list of upcoming YMS events and activities is included below.
Congratulations to the YMS Jazz Band on their outstanding performance at this week’s Honors Jazz Festival! They earned a Superior rating and an impressive overall score of 94.5—bravo! We are excited to share that they will advance to the state-level festival in March.
Enjoy the break, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday, February 23rd.
