Hi Everyone,
As we head into warmer weather, please take a moment to review the following dismissal safety reminders with your middle schooler.
Students who walk home after school must remain in their classrooms until the second dismissal bell before leaving the building. This procedure allows buses to exit safely before walkers and parent pickups are dismissed.
Students should not use the wooded path to access York Street to walk to the center of town. There is no designated crosswalk in that area.
Instead, use Organug Road to access the crosswalk on York Street, where the police officer directing traffic can assist students in crossing safely.

As a reminder there is no school on Monday, May 25th. We hope the Memorial Day weekend offers you time to relax, recharge, and enjoy time together as we honor the Americans who have sacrificed while serving our country. Their service and dedication remind us of the freedoms and opportunities we enjoy each day.
